Micro needling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment used to treat acne scars, pigmentation, stretchmarks, enlarged pores and overall skin aging. The procedure works using your device of choice which is equipped with micro needles to create controlled micro injuries to the skin. These tiny punches stimulate the body’s natural healing response, increasing collagen and elastin production, which help reduces fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and pigmentation changes.
We offer several different options in microneedling. This includes three distinct types of technologies, and different skin boosters to use alongside the treatment.

Traditional (Dermapen)
This device has 9 micro needles that quickly vibrate over the skin. This leaves the skin a little pink and feeling like it's a little sunburnt. We love this treatment in combination with the NCTF skin booster.

electroporation (EPN)
This is an exciting new treatment we offer in clinic. Along with the awesome effects of microneedling the device passes a small electrical current through the top layer of skin and this lets the serums penetrate deeper, enhancing their effect. We especially love to use this technology in combination with exosomes.

Radio-frequency
This is a wonderful skin tightening treatment. It works with dual action technology. The microneedles create microtrauma to stimulate collagen production and the radiofrequency creates heat to tighten the deeper layers of skin. It is a powerful treatment for both stimulating collagen and tightening skin.

The flagship skin booster from Fillmed laboratories, the ‘Chanel Skin Booster’. It is a lovely blend of moisturising hyaluronic acid and 59 other vitamins and minerals. It can be used with any microneedling treatment to hydrate and nourish the skin.

Platelet Rich Plasma is when a small amount of your blood is spun at high speed allowing us to extract your own plasma and healing factors. By doing this, we put your own body’s healing factors back at the site of the micro-trauma made by the microneedling pen. All natural and nothing artificial! PRP allows us to reduce downtime and increase visible results of any treatment.

The latest in regenerative medicine and we are very excited to have been one of the first clinics in the area to offer them!! Recovery Time
Downtime is minimal. Your skin will be pink when you leave the clinic, and you may feel a sensation similar to sunburn for 24 to 48 hours. Most patients have minimal redness the next day and are able to continue their daily life with ease.

A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to ensure comfort. You may feel mild pressure or warmth (particularly with RF), but most clients find the treatment very tolerable.

Downtime is minimal. You may experience mild redness or sensitivity for 24–48 hours, similar to light sun exposure. Makeup can usually be worn the next day.

You’ll notice an initial glow and smoother texture within a few days, with progressive tightening and improved tone over 4–6 weeks as new collagen forms. Results continue to build with each treatment.

For optimal results, a course of 3–6 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended, followed by maintenance sessions a few times a year depending on your goals.
