Radiofrequency Microneedling

Micro needling with radio frequency (RF) is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment that combines traditional micro needling with controlled radiofrequency energy to enhance collagen production and tighten the skin. This dual action technique is highly effective for treating wrinkles, sagging skin, laxity, acne scars, enlarged paws and uneven texture.

Micro needling uses a device equipped with ultrafine sterile needles to create microscopic punctures in the skin. These controlled micro-injuries stimulate the body’s natural healing response, promoting collagen and elastin production which improves skin firmness and texture.

Radio-frequency energy is then delivered through the micro needles into the deeper layers of the skin. RF energy generates controlled heat, which tightens existing collagen fibres and further stimulates new collagen production. This thermal effect enhances the skin tightening benefits of the traditional micro needling, making the treatment more effective for addressing loose skin and deep wrinkles.

By combining these two technologies, micro needling with RF penetrates deeper into the skin than standard micro needling, offering faster and more noticeable results while maintaining minimal downtime.

Although amazing for the face , it can also be used to improve skin laxity above the knees, reduce cellulite, tighten the skin of the stomach and even improve hooded eyelids

What DR Lizzie thinks

This is one of my most powerful tools to use in clinic!  With minimal downtime it can achieve so many things. It stimulates collagen and improves skin laxity.  It is also a great treatment to reduce the appearance of jowls and tighten the jawline. It is great on its own but I do love combining this with other treatments such as skin boosters, PRP or exosomes.
