Wrinkles and lines in the face are formed for two reasons. There are dynamic wrinkles which are formed as we make facial expressions, and static lines that are creases in the skin formed over many years of making the same expressions. Muscle relaxing treatments work by injecting, which temporarily relaxes targeted facial muscles reducing dynamic wrinkles and softening static lines over time.

How MUSCLE-RELAXING INJECTIONS Work
Using a purified protein that blocks nerve signals to the specific muscles, temporarily preventing them from contracting. Results typically appear within 3 to 7 days after treatment with full effects visible at around two weeks. The effect generally lasts between 3 to 6 months over which time the muscle movement gradually returns.
how do types of toxin differ?
All toxin used in clinic is a prescription medication and in the form of botulinum toxin A. In Clinic, we currently offer two types of toxin, Azzalure and Relfydess.
Azzalure is one of the leading brands of botulinum toxin type A. It is a freeze-dried (lyophilised) formulation, reconstituted before use to ensure precision and stability.
Relfydess is one of the latest-generation botulinum toxins, developed using advanced purification technology to remove unnecessary complexing proteins. This creates a highly pure, stable, and consistent formula that minimises the risk of immune resistance over time. Relfydess starts working sooner than the traditional freeze dried options and its affect can last up to 6 months.

Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) - Botox not only relaxes the muscles but also reduces the ability for the body to sweat. By injecting into the skin around the sweat glands excessive sweating can be reduced.

Muscle relaxing injections offer almost immediate softening of lines and wrinkles. They are always temporary and generally require treatment every 3 to 4 months, but this allows a fabulous opportunity to dip your toe into the aesthetics world for a non-permanent treatment. However, generally once you’ve had it, you’ll keep it up because it’s great!
